You can form international trusts in a number of international financial centers. Nevis, the Cook Islands, Cayman Islands, Belize, Isle of Man, the Bahamas, and the Turks and Caicos Islands are popular choices. Nevis and the Cook Islands, in our view, are the two most protective IFCs. Where you set up your trust is chiefly based on the legal protection afforded by that IFC; however, you would not necessarily bank or invest within that jurisdiction since you can globally invest the money in your trust. Lawsuit protection can open the door to new, more profitable international investments.
