I have several animals in my care, can I plan for the care of my pets when I pass away?

You certainly can! You can plan for the care of any animal you own – from cats to parrots and even horses. You may do so by including provisions in your Estate Planning documents setting aside money for this purpose or you may execute a pet trust if the life expectancy of your pet is longer than average. It is important to appoint someone you fully to ensure your wishes are followed to their fullest extent. If you have too many pets, or do not have a person who can administer such a service, then you may look for organizations who can take care of your pet for the remainder of their natural lives.
